Remember when I said I was going on hiatus? Just kidding!
When Adam Baran reminded me of his upcoming monthly film night and offered to give an interview I jumped at the chance. The monthly screening series, called Narrow Rooms, is out to show you the wildest gay shit and smut imaginable. The first film, PENDA’S FEN, was described by Artnet as “a bizarre 1974 British coming-of-age film where boyhood sexuality leads to Neo-paganism and socialism.” If that sounds like your cup of english tea, the sceening is tonight at Anthology Film Archives.
Baran is a well-known fan of film and filthy sex, and we talk about his plans for the screening series, the future of his popular sex party Inferno, and the Monkeypox crisis. Read on for our conversation and some cute events happening at my place of work1.
XOXO,
Mo
